Sunny Cove Kayaking was the best choice for kayaking out of Seward. From the reservation flexibility to the incredible and professional adventure with our guide, Andrew, this was one of the greatest tours I've had in Alaska. The Caines Head Kayak and Hike Tour was the best combination for an active group of people looking to explore the Resurrection Bay. Even on a cloudy/somewhat rainy weekend, the trip was so worth it. Andrew was knowledgeable, encouraging, and personable. He was able to show us different types of wildlife like sea otters, Harbor seals, and multiple sea birds. On top of the great time we had on the water, we were also able to hike up to the WWII fort and have nutritious lunch with a beautiful view. I would recommend this to anyone and look forward to booking different tours with this company in the future.

Danny, Emma, Josh, and Hallie were perfect captains and guides for our kayaking excursion and wildlife watching excursion! The smaller boat size made for easy conversation as a small group to learn all about the natural beauty around us. They taught us about all the safety we’d need to know for kayaking and we felt secure the entire time! Despite rain, we had a phenomenal experience kayaking in the glacial bay in the fjords. We saw lots of wildlife while kayaking and even glimpsed a whale on the boat ride back to town. Would not hesitate to do this again on a future visit to Seward!
We had a fun family adventure with Ben, Danny, Hallie and Capt Mike. The new Catamaran was comfortable and spacious with COVID precautions! The Kayaks and equipment for all that is needed including waterproof pants and jackets and boots provided. The guides were informative and loved showing us the bounty of nature. Our girls loved the photo ops. We even saw a humpback whale besides the seals, otters and puffins! Thank you Sunny Cove and Crew of Ascension!!
Ashley was an amazing young lady! She was surprisingly full of information on the geography, vegetation, wildlife, and a wonderful person. My wife Cara and I loved her patience and kindness for our Tonsina Day Kayaking and Hiking tour here in Seward Alaska.
