We love Shakespeare’s! It’s one of our go to spots here in town. We love the burgers and there is always great beer on tap.

Decadently Delicious Burger with Caramelized Onions, Brie cheese, and Garlicky Mushrooms at the well-known Shakespeare's Sarasota.... This unassuming dimly lit unpretentious super casual pub with scant outdoor seating just off siesta drive delivers an unexpected punch with hand-packed, made to order burgers flame grilled to a temperature! Recommendation: order one temperature below what you love. Keep in mind, this comes from a reviewer that could do nothing more than spank her meat and be OK. Needless to say, I ordered mine rare.... And it was rare. The meat was fresh, juicy, and luscious! Caramelized onions and melted brie cheese added unexpected flair. I am unable to review the balance of the menu except the delicious onion rings. BEST BURGER IN TOWN BAR NONE!!!
I have enjoyed your food and drink many times and always consistent on quality and service.The only thing that can make it a bad experience is that smoking is still allowed on the patio where I prefer to enjoy our meal in the fresh air.I am always hesitant to bring my guest to enjoy your food on patio outside not knowing when a table full of smokers is going to be right by us.I have always wonder why you could not make front patio non smoking and make smoking area in one parking spot by back door to accommodate the smokers.
I would usually say Shakespeare's is great. On this occasion we were seated outside, waited 30 minutes to be served, and never were!! We left. The food is good and service is usually informative, friendly, and prompt. Disappointed on this visit to say the least. I was really looking forward to spicy mushrooms and fish and chips.
First time visiting this establishment for I had heard they had very good food.I had ordered one of their daily specials,the Rosemary braised lamb shank and the other the fish and chip.The food was excellent and so was Jackie our waitress,she was very pleasant and professional. I would definitely, highly recommend to anyone!
