I love this place! They were one of the 1st of its kind over 10yrs ago! There are many foot spas now. However, Shangrila is still my favorite!

If the name sounds different that what you would expect from a Yoga studio, it is with good reason -- The Raven is a very different kind of Shangrila Foot Massage.
I am reluctant to rate them five stars because I am selfish and I want to keep this place a secret. They are all very skilled and very professional. It is relaxing here and the massage chairs are clean and brand new. Parking can be difficult but street parking isn't too bad. Best foot massage in woodland hills without a doubt. Everyone that works here has a good attitude too and they are good at keeping reservations for massages.

As cliche as it sounds, the only reason im giving this place a star is because thats the lowest score i can give. Ive been to this place a few times, and never had to complain. Today, i drew the line. I dont like to complain, but this is something everyone needs to know. So, i get regular massages with my therapist about once a week. My therapist was not available for a pain i got, so, i went to this place. I got there late abot 840ish. And seemed as if they were closed so i asked, they told me they could take me. Rather than asking me what i prefer, male or female, the owner called out a young man to do my massage. Fine, how bad can a foot massage be from a guy. Somehow, it became a 1/2 and 1/2. Back and foot. Fine, done those too. Usually u sit and get the back and then the feet. Well it went to the table. Unconfortable, i figured fine, hopefully he can get the knots out. First off, i heard him chew his gum the whoooole time. When he staeted on my back, he would lean so far in that he had his junk rubbing on my hand! I moved my hand and then you guessed it, on my arm .. yuk! Then when he massaged, rather than take time and do each side, he was rough. Now, the next part really bothered me (as if my experience wasnt disturbing enough yet) he started doing the elbow into my back and would put preassure on my bone! I would jerk away . When he attempted to put pressure into my tail bone, i had to tell him thats not normal. He can break my back like that. The entire massage was horrible. I told him where i had knots and he barely went over them and went on to do the same mess. When i leave i begin telling the owners and they brushed it off .. i even asked if he was certified. Tomorrow, i am goint to make a point in calling in and having them checked. He could of really hurt my back had i not known.. If u go, just do the foot massage. Dont let them talk you into anything else. But i promise you, that guy is not certified. There is no way. And i will never go there again
This placeis great. Love going there everytime I get a chance. 25 foot massage for 1 hour is the greastest thing ever
