Can't get anyone to answer the phone! Where are these people? The building address given on Google is completely empty!!

Will never deal with these people again. Why are they even working there. They don't answer the phone, when they do they're incredibly rude. I've never dealt with a sadder group of people. It's their job to find these animals a good home yet they seemingly go out of their way to ignore people who want to adopt them! Can the animals be transferred to other facilities and shut this one down? They obviously don't care about their jobs anyway. If you wanted just a paycheck go work with retail and food, not living breathing animals in need of a good home.
Never answer the phone and takes several days before they call back.
I had an appointment this Tuesday (11-3)to meet the woman in charge of the adoption process and the puppy I wanted to adopt from the Mercer County Hummane Society. I called Thursday to see if she received my application, she asked me questions, and then said we could meet Tuesday so I could meet the puppy. She knew the puppy was a surprise for my boyfriend, he was going to be early Christmas present. She called me back the next day, left a voice mail stating she decided to go with another applicant. She said if I wanted an explanation call her back. And of course I wanted one, considering the fact she told me I could meet the puppy and knew he was a surprise. I called her twice, left a voice mail the second time. No response. I've never been so disappointed in a human being that I've never met, in my life. I was so heart broken especially since I couldn't keep it a secret and I told my boyfriend, I was just so excited I couldn't keep it from him. We've been looking for months for a Jack Russell Terrier and I thought I got so lucky, I'd much rather rescue a puppy. I hope the puppy has new loving parents and they take really good care of him.
