I've rented a car from this Hertz location or the Enterprise location (across the street) every two months for the last three years -- primarily for business. As of writing this review, the new manager (Kyle) at Hertz Shawnee is the best manager of a car rental operation from which I've rented a vehicle. He understands customer service.

I have rented at this Hertz before and not always had the best experience. But this time it seemed much better run, I think they have a new manager and he was great and very friendly. The thing I most appreciated was they had me in one vehicle but I really wanted one with better gas mileage and the employee went out immediately and took care of it with no complaint. Good price, especially prepay, and nothing bad to say about this location on this time!
Very unspecific as to everything. Car was not at all what we exoected & unable to change due to extremely limited inventory. We decided NOT to rent the car. If we had got the car we reserved, we would have at least tried. If they would have at least attempted to work with us things would have been different. Try Enterprise.... trust me.
Came and picked me up at the body shop. Kyle and Casey are awesome made my day much better. Thank you Hertz for 5 star customer service.
If you regularly rent from Hertz and expecting the same service, please don't go here. The cars are not cleaned. There was not even an apology when I told the associate upon return that I kept getting the low pressure message despite checking it thoroughly and that the washer fluid ran out pretty quick. Similar experience on my second rental. They didn't know how to handle an exception so they charged for an extra driver. Avoid
