The new Rice Lumber location is fantastic and has not only an incredible selection of lumber, but the in store space has way more variety of tools, and supplies than I expected. It is functionally a high quality hardware store for construction projects, not just a lumber yard and their service and assistance has been excellent for all my diy projects and materials needs.

Being that I’ve been employed in building materials sales and as a contractor or carpenter for over thirty years, I have high expectations of materials suppliers. I was pretty impressed that these guys were the ONLY place within 50 miles of me that has Douglas Fir ACX plywood in stock. While the guy at the counter inside was annoyingly arrogant, the pro sales guy and the two men in the yard were very helpful. Very clean warehouses and well organized. I will call them again next time I need quality and not just commodity products. (Not close enough drive to do everyday stuff for me.)
