I stayed here with a friend .... was fantastic .. the only thing was the hot water didn’t last in the camper.. even when I had turn the shower off and only on for rinsing... i know they did have showers but didn’t know till after the fact.. but used to taking very cold showers .. I had to finish lol...the heater was fabulous and was able to get warm. Everything else around was awesome , fishing, kayak, hikes you name it. I love to see the dogs around and people and staff were friendly ...If you love the outdoors - highly recommend this place. I will be coming here often and now that I know I can bring my pups with me :)

Very nice clean place. Check in was easy, we showed up after they closed the office but were lucky others were still arriving also. The railroad does go along the campground and the trains do run into the evening. We didn't use the amenities as we were out all day hiking. Any questions about the area, ask, they were very helpful to us about hiking the waterfalls There are picnic tables and a grate for a campfire, most of those were so close to campers i wouldn't dare have a fire. The site we had was decent in size but they do have pull throughs and bigger sites
Mostly a great stay. Decent sized sites with great host. Very accommodating, but noisy people next door playing music and talking past midnight put a damper on the last two nights of our seven night trip. Still would recommend.
We enjoyed our stay in rented trailer. It was clean and cozy. Owners were very sweet and friendly.. will definitely come back again.
Timberland is a nice campground with clean bathrooms and showers. I had some neighbors that were up until 2 am but that would be my only complaint. There's a short, easy walk to the Andrscoggin River towards the back of the campground. It seems like the current can be rather strong but it's a nice place to cool off. They also have a nice pool. Its definitely a place to consider if you're hiking near Mount Washington.
The owners were great, always around, incredibly friendly, and they do a fantastic job maintaining the place. It's a really awesome location in NH, 30 min from Storyland, Santa's Village, Mt Washington, Wildcat Mtn, Cranmore, Glen Falls, the old Old Man, Flume Gorge, and the AT. Tons of RV trails throughout the community. Well kept pool. Gated access. Right on train tracks, so lots of squashed change! It went through at 930 each night, one night we walked down with flashlights to watch it! There is also a river, walking distance on the property, with kayak launch. Superfast flow, really pretty. SO many local river spots, so so many. Really had an amazing trip at Timberland, look forward to returning.
I LOVE this place, owners are very nice but I can't deal the the small sized campsites. Ive been to many campgrounds in my life, mostly KOA's and state parks-- never had such a problem with light sleeping campers. If you fart the wrong way past ten your neighbor will complain about it. I LOVE this beautiful campground, but the super-sensitive neighbors make it annoying. If you're not going nuh-night at 10 sharp I'd suggest spending the extra money and getting an RV site or a cabin.
I booked this month's in advance not knowing much but what I had read . Lori was so wonderful and informational even with the covid pandemic happening she always kept me informed and accommodated my whole family. The cabin was beautiful and completely stocked with all we needed. The pool was clean and beautiful and everyone was just so welcoming I loved it and so did my family we will be back next summer for sure.
