I am a father of two kids (3 and 2 YO). My kids have been going to this school for over a year now. Childtime in shelby township is hands down the best daycare to put your loved ones at and a place where you can work while you are rest assured that your loved ones are getting the love and education they need. For me and my wife quality educational programs and care for our kids is our top priority while we are both working. The best things I found about this daycare are: 1- The management is amazing, very responsive, professional and they always make sure your kids' needs are met to the tiniest detail. 2- The teachers are amazing, they are very friendly, love their students, treat parents and children as precius family members. 3- Your kids will love being here and will be asking you about going to school every morning. I always communicate with my kids and ask them about their day at school and their teachers. Every single time I just hear happy stories from them about their friends and teachers. Even on the weekends my kids ask if they will be going to school :) 4- In addition to the live camera feed that you can access at anytime they send a lot of pictures and detailed activities that the kids are participating in. Our family loves this place and we highly recommend it if your kids' happiness and education is very important to you. Definitely worth every single penny and more. I can only say GREAT things about this daycare. My daughter has been there since she was 12 weeks and as me being a new mom the director Lesley and her teacher Ms. Alyssa made the transition super easy! I've never met people so welcoming and so caring. Each person there goes above and beyond to help - from the time you walk in to the time you leave. Even though she can not tell me, the way my daughters face lights up when she sees her teacher and the rest of the staff puts my heart at ease. And the updates they send me throughout the day - I absolutely enjoy it! I can't thank them enough for what they do! This specific place is filled with wonderful people for our daughter to love and to be loved back!
Whatever you do...DO NOT inquire online and give them any info. I wanted to know the price so I asked online. They proceeded to call me every hour on the hour while I was at work. When I finally talked to them, they said it was over 300 a week. I told them no way can I afford to play 15k a year to put a 3 year old in daycare. They are still calling me everyday and emailing me. They call me more then a debt collector.
This is a great school! Always clean. The teacher are sweet and very hands on with the kids. The director and assistant director are the best. They are very on hands with all the kids. I always see them in different class rooms spending time with the kids. The school also provides other classes the kids can sign up for.
Great school, I have no complaints! My son has been going to Childtime since he was 3 months old. He's a strong willed and very busy and they've always been patient and understanding with his crazy energetic self. He's now 15 months old and I'm still enjoying each person in each room he's been in. Everyone is polite and very professional. The facilities are immaculate, everything is always in ship shape form and nothing is out of place when I arrive to drop off or pick up and if by chance something is out of place, it's quickly put back. My son can't talk yet, but I can tell he enjoys being there, it takes a second because he's a mamas boy but as soon as his friends and he start interacting that bit of hesitation from him disappears. I get several picture updates of him playing, or doing projects as well as update all day about what he's eating, learning, and doing. Lesly, the director, is also amazing. I have no problem getting responses to my questions and concerns. Whether it's a call or email she is constantly keeping me informed. It's been a pleasure so far, and I hope to continue using Childtime for more years to come.
