First time visiting this location! Saw multiple employees help customers bring items to their cars, very friendly once inside as well.. the gentlemen that helped us even threw in a free fresh loaf of bread because he thought it would go well with the ravioli and sauce we had purchased for our dinner tonight! Great place, food abs people, thanks guys!!
I feel like everytime I go to Gaetanos, it’s like a new experience. There’s so many different types of hero’s I want to try that I’m able to get something new each time! This beauty is The Bishop which contains roast beef, sharp provolone and roasted red peppers. As for Covid protocol, they’re following everything that they can to ensure the safety of their staff and customers which makes me feel very comfortable going into their shop. They allow a few people inside at a time and advise to call first to ensure your order is ready in time for when you get there. Can’t wait to try something new the next time I go! And ask for the Buffalo chicken salad, it’s so delicious!
The Kovac’s special is the best sandwich To ever hit my mouth, and not just that, but is also the best thing iv ever ate, and I'll stand by that. The staff is amazing, makes you feel like family and are always generous. No wonder food network voted them best Deli in CT!
My all time favorite deli. We will travel hours to get there. Everything is delicious. Try the Kovacs Special, you won't be disappointed.
20 year's ago I learned what a real hero/sub is from the original Stratford spot. This place definitely sets the bar. Old school CT joint.
Been hearing about how this place is amazing every time I visit the area for work and just had it for the first time. INCREDIBLE sandwiches, well made, good bread, quality meats, and a genuine deli experience that leaves you wanting more. Of all of it. 10/10, 5 stars out of 5, give the your business you won't be disappointed.
The ultimate Italian deli. The grinders and salads are fantastic. Everything freshly made. The guys working here are ultra friendly. You feel like family walking in.
