Since January 27th, 2019 they have been "closed for remodeling" as per the handwritten sign and evidenced by completely empty shelves and the absence of the attendant. Since this newsstand has been open 24 hours since 1949, I wonder if this was the first time it has ever been closed since that time?

Stopped by here and there were hardly any magazines at all, 90% of the shelves were empty. It has definitely seen better days. It used to carry whatever you were looking for but now only a few newspapers. Not worth the time.
