We drive through here every year and look at the Christmas lights, my, now husband and I tried to do this for our first date 5 years ago and pulled up just after they closed, which prompted one of the most memorable nights of my life that has lead to a very happy marriage. So in a way I have Sherwood Forest to thank for my happiness, so I highly recommend checking it out at Christmas time

The facility was very beautiful. My best friend had her wedding there. However the bathrooms were disgusting.

The water park is a great addition. The playgrounds are ok, they could use some updates. There are multiple areas to sit and play so you have some options based on how crowded it gets.

Bless Bridge

The children's park equipment was fine. They have 1 gazebo that is old and a little rough father away from the building. It serves as a nice shaded area to watch kids play on the play ground. We didn't go in the building. There was a wedding going on. The other pavilion was bigger and much nicer looking. They had it decorated very beautifully for the wedding. It would be a lovely place to have a reception or family reunion. There was an open area that had some construction vehicles sitting idle. I'm not sure what they might be building.
