This was such a good place, I was scared, and I had certain needs due to severe OCD. They were very understanding and even let me bring an item that helped me ease my anxiety. I also JUST relocated here due to losing my home in hurricane Laura and they helped with financial assistance which was a blessing. A specific counselor was an angel, I won’t list her name here because I’m sure that’s not allowed but if you ever read this, thank you. Also ladies please remember to change your name before you review if you’re not safe at home!!

I unfortunately had to go to the hope medical center for an abortion in august. As soon as I got there I was not allowed in with my phone or purse, which I felt to be a red flag but I was desperate & in a bad situation. When I walked in I felt uneasy, the entire place seemed like a hole in the wall, barely legal kind of establishment. The staff seemed very behind schedule & were goofing off (they were also discussing how far behind they were, joking like it was funny). There were only 2 nurses that really seemed to care about their job & the patients. On the first day I went in, it was very crowded (10-15 people) and there was no way for us all to be 6 feet apart. I was so anxious I was sweating all over & they had window units in almost every room. I was at this place from 8 AM to almost 3 in the afternoon. The doctor that I met (white older male) was very condescending to me and was trying to belittle me & when I left he said to me \I hope I never have to see you again.\ I understand what he could mean, but it was unnecessary. After I got my procedure done, I thought I was free from this place at last. But NO! I wait a month, take a pregnancy test, and I'm STILL PREGNANT. So basically I had to relive this nightmare twice, all the time I spent at that place would amount up to at least a day, there was just so much unprofessionalism about this place I could go on and on, the bathrooms were filthy and did not lock, (you could also see right into the bathroom from the doctors area on the other side). the procedure room was like the size of a large walk in closet, I had an anxiety attack while in this place twice. PLEASE do not go here unless you absolutely have to, for your mental sake.

Everyone is sweet except the old male dr. He spoke to me in a disgusting classless manner. Blantently threw out insults and passively stereotyped me. I have never been insulted in this manner ever. The rest of the staff were great and very supportive.

being scared and not really knowing what to expect from this experience, hope medical was truly a phenomenal place. Every staff member I spoke with made sure that having an abortion was something I was ready for. They were comforting, very kind. And reading the negative reviews I just can’t fathom the thought of any of the staff being rude. I drove over 3 hours JUST to have my procedure done here. Really nice phone educate and amazing staff. I hope I’ll never have to go back.. but if you’re looking to terminate your pregnancy, or you’re not sure.. and you’re terrified of what your options are, I really recommend at least calling them at the bare minimum. As for some of the reviews listed below, yes. They did bring me into a room for counseling the day of my procedure, I was told that if I was too shaken up, or tense, they would not be able to make perform the procedure on that day, but they give you medication to help put you at ease. You have to be AWARE of your surrounding and alert to what’s going on. So for the person who put that the doctor promised her she would be put to sleep, no mam. They will skip you if you don’t know what’s going on and they will move onto the next woman in line. Overall. A truly amazing staff. I would rate 10 stars if I could. Thank you.

Place was horrible. Urine on floors. The male doctor was very insulting. Place was crowded and unorganized. I told them I'm having mental breakdowns passing out from this pregnancy. The male doctor Murry PROMISED that I was going to be able to be put to sleep for the procedure. They lied and made me feel like I was too much of a problem. Then turned me away at the last minute I was going through last part. Had a breakdown. And I guess they thought I was too much. Will be pressing charges.
