I'm in the early stages of building my dream home. I contacted Kubed Living to get an idea of costs involved in manufacturing container homes. Katalina was so awesome to speak with. 5-Stars truly is not enough in my honest experience and history with both the Kubed organization and their CEO, Katalina Klein! I am a former Marine and current government employee (Once a Marine Always a Marine; Semper Fi) and I spent many months and countless hours researching well over 100 companies from around the United States and even a handful abroad. The impending decisions and financial commitment to build our dream home was something we took incredibly serious. Needless to say, we have been working with Katalina for nearly two years now and I could not be more impressed with every aspect of her organization. If you are looking for your project to be more than just a number on a spreadsheet to be managed like an assembly line then this is the organization for you. Kubed has exemplified meticulous attention to detail and compassion towards my goals, our unique and remote build site and every hurdle that has presented along the way. Kubed literally took my wildest visions and transformed my thoughts and ideas into something even greater than I could have ever imagined. Katalina and her team have been there for my family and myself throughout the process and have taken the time to provide continual support no matter how large or small the question. I wish for nothing more than to shed some light on the amazing Kubed Living organization. Katalina backed out of our agreement and refused to refund our money. She has no professionalism to admit when she is out of comfort zone. She wasted out time and stole our money in the process. Dont fall for this company. They are not at all cheaper compared to conventional builds, no near the quality or other modulars. Katalina just takes your money outsources the project to a separate factory and charges a premium just as a greedy GC. Just another overcharging CEO of a CA start up that will be gone in a few years. That means no warranty for your home. Will now have to take things up with the authorities to report the fraud, as she went no contact. Also not a licensed business with the state of California. Shady.
This is really cool, lots of thought and creativity go into these things. Katalina really knows her stuff on this and is easy to work with. I'm building a conventional house but I'm getting one of her container structures for the pool/guest house.
