Good for kids
What a beautiful wayside park. There was not many trails and was not part of one of the state parks but still very beautiful. It was early spring so there was a lot of water flowing through making the falls pretty spectacular. Would rate at 5 stars if it was more organized as a park with more trails but definitely worth the stop while visiting the north shore.

Lots of trails to go high or low along the river with many new surprises around each bend.
Beautiful; scenic; worth the short walk down to the actual river bed. The trails may be a little challenging for some as they drop down to the bed. The view from the bridge is nice.
It almost goes without saying that when you can still ski in Minnesota on May 5th that the waterfalls will be spectacular along the northshore! Our vantage point in this photo was a quick scramble (informal trails) off of Hwy 61. Erosion is going to be an issue without some kind of formal trails down from the parking lot.
Beaver Falls and the river was barely running.Just nothing like it has been in the past... No one's fault. Clean area for a picnic and parking was easy
