Neat place to visit history. It was cold at beginning ( December) of the trail, but after getting to the top nice sun warmed us. Amazing nature around. Friendly staff helps you with questions and with near by hikes if interested.

They let you walk through the dwelling! Amazing! Love seeing the craftsmanship and vision they had back during thoes time. Great job NPS keeping it preserved! A must see and the drive to get there is very windy and scenic!
Unfortunately, they are understaffed, so temporarily you can't enter the cliff dwellings. You can still hike right up to them and peek in, just not climb inside. Still well worth the hike want time of the year. There is a spot to fill water bottles and vault toilets, plus a sunny picnic area.
Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Great selection of items at the gift store. Great information provided about the Gila Cliff Dwellings.
This is such a beautiful trail and such diverse plants. The trail follows along a small mountain stream that is lush and green on each side. At the top are beautiful views and the Cliff Dwellings. The park service has volunteers to inform visitors about area.
