I started using Capitol Chimney a few years ago, and have nothing but great things to say about them. The company is very well run, the prices are very reasonable , they do good work, show up on time and even call in advance to remind you, are friendly and kind and treat you like a valued customer. My previous company tried to intimate me into unnecessary work costing 10,000, but after multiple inspectors told me it wasn't necessary I realized it was a scam. Capitol chimney never does that. In fact this last time they found a minor issue and fixed it for free. I strongly recommend them.
Ripped off. I called Capitol Chimney because I could not get good air flow down my chimney. The worker told me my metal lined chimney was blocked with glazed creosote and that I should purchase a new liner, from them. After their agent cleaned my liner it was still blocked, and no airflow. I later called another chimney cleaner and they resolved the issue. I believe Capitol intentionally did a bad job because they wanted me to buy a new liner. I feel like I was ripped off.
Abe and gene cleaned my chimney. They arrived on time. They were courteous, polite and very careful to keep my home the way it was before they started. I would highly recommend capital chimney.
