UPDATE: I found out there are cameras in the conference room -- while I was meeting with a client. That was a deal breaker for me. I didn't appreciate not knowing that. _________________________________________ Creative Colony Spaces is a great place to hold meetings. The atmosphere is professional and peaceful. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I'd recommend this space to anyone looking for one-time or ongoing conference room use!

Quiet yet quaint and the surrounding restaurants will make you faint! The colony is at the top of my list of best freelance spots around the DC area. I would add the word \community\ in a remix of the name, because the events and happy hours catered to freelance professionals focus on the very essence of what co-op's should be.

I usually work from home, so the Creative Colony is great for when I need to be fully \in the office\ and dive into a big project without the usual distractions. Just enough buzz to keep me focused, but not enough to get me sidetracked. I can chat with the others if I want, or stay focused in. I have met some great people at the happy hours, and I even got a client referral from one of my fellow Colonists!

I love this place! Even though I have a home office, I find that working at the Colony provides many benefits. Tiffany and Shala are very welcoming, accommodating, and community oriented, as are the other members. Check it out. You can get a free three day trial, so what do you have to lose?
