Absolutely horrible experience. I called the find out about Lazizah's ground beef product which is sold at the Restaurant Depot's Halal Meat Section. I called their main line and spoke their Administrative Associate. My Question was very simple and straight forward. A day before I filled out their query form under their contact us tab on the main website. Today when I called back to check on my query I had an absolute run around from their Admin Associate. She told me that it's their policy that before they give any information on that halal product I should fill out their inquiry form. This form requires that I should contact the vendor in this case it's Lazizah or the seller Restaurant Depot and request to see their ISWA certificate to fill out their inquiry form which is designed as such that NO ONE WOULD BOTHER TO GET ALL THE ABOVE MENTIONED INFORMATION. AS A MUSLIM AND A CONSUMER I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED. ISWA if they are sincere and truly doing this for the pleasure of Allah and serving the muslim community for the sake of Allah should have made this process much cleaner and to the accessable and not telling the customer to fill out that RIDICULOUS NONSENSICAL INQUIRY FROM. MY QUESTION REMAIN UNANSWERED "DOES ISWA CERTIFY MEAT PRODUCTS SLAUGHTERED MECHANICALLY WITHOUT HUMAN INTERVENTION OF A DAHABI OR DO THEY ONLY CERTIFY MEAT PRODUCTS IF THEY ARE HAND SLAUGHTERED BY A MUSLIM DAHABI" AFTER THE RUN AROUND GIVEN BY THEIR ADMIN I HAVE LOST ALL FAITH IN THEIR CERTIFICATION AND TRANSPARENCY. ISWA HAS MY CONTACT INFORMATION (EMAIL AND PHONE) IF YOU ARE SINCERE IN YOUR SERVICE THEN REACH OUT TO ME WITH AN ANSWER. JUST LIKE I DID AND HAD A RUN AROUND BY YOUR INCOMPETENT ADMIN. SHAME ON YOU FOR GIVING MUSLIMS RUN AROUND. NOTHING WHICH WAS INQUIRED WAS CONFIDENTIAL NOR PRIVATE. I SIMPLY ASKED ABOUT YOUR CERTIFICATION CRITERIA. FYI THE ONLY REASON WHY I AM BOTHERED TO GIVE YOU ONE STAR IS BECAUSE THIS FORM WONT ALLOW ZERO. SHAME ON YOU.
