I worked with Stacy and Trent to help plan my engagement proposal to my girlfriend. We live in Dallas, Texas and they were able to help me pick out a beautiful location for the proposal in the Keystone/Dillon, Colorado area. They provided several options for me to choose from, based on the type of setting that I was looking for. Once I picked out a spot, Stacy and her son went out to the location and videoed exactly where I would need to go, where we needed to stand to have the best background, and then how exactly we were going to be positioned to make these pictures look as great as possible. They made it so easy to visualize what I needed to do, without being able to go to the spot in person before the proposal. I would not have been able to pull off the proposal of my girlfriend's dreams without the help of Gillespie Photography!! I am so thankful to have found Stacy and Trent to capture and plan our engagement proposal! Sheridan and I had such a great time during our photography shoot, and we loved the ideas and direction that Stacy & Trent provided! They were both very professional, extremely kind, helpful, easy to work with, and their photos turned out great! They took so much pressure off of my shoulders in planning this proposal, and the whole experience was genuinely wonderful!! We LOVED working with Gillespie Photography!!!

Trent was our photographer for our engagement pictures and the overall experience was AMAZING. I was very nervous to be in front of a camera and he had me feeling comfortable in a matter of minutes. I took Stacy & Trent's photo workshop a couple years ago (I'm a wedding photographer myself) and knew right then and there, if I got married, they'd shoot my wedding. Cut to two years later and they did. My husband and I put our wedding together in 31 days due to my father falling ill and the urgent desire to have him walk me down the aisle. We also found out I was pregnant and wanted to tie the knot before baby chaos began. Being in the wedding industry I already knew who I wanted for my vendors and these two were in that group. Thankfully they were available for the Friday we wanted and I'll admit if they weren't we may have changed our date all together to a date they could. That's how important they were to us! Their talent for storytelling is amazing. Their angles, timing and most importantly their approach is one of trust and compassion. I knew our wedding was going to be filled with emotional moments like my father walking me down the aisle and our wedding cake being our gender reveal. Having photographers who were going to nail those moments photographically was top priority for us. Being a photographer myself of 17 years full time, lighting was also important. It's not something a lot of couples think about, which is why I'm mentioning it. These two know how to light well and not a lot of wedding photographers do. They have a special technique (that I learned in their workshop) which makes their reception photos even more dynamic. Lots of venues don't have great reception lighting set ups so to have photographers who can make that happen is important. Thanks again you two for being so amazing. Everyone was blown away by how wonderful you were and how hard you worked. The photos really show your talent, knowledge of your craft and your passion for what you do. From one photographer & couple to another THANK YOU.
