I’ve lived here for a month currently, and I’m fairly pleased with my experience so far. A little bit of a bumpy move-in, some things were unfinished or in need of repair, but what the complex/units lack, the staff make up for. Christina and Riley in the office are consistently helpful and communicative, and Marco from maintenance is exceptional—he’s handled all my maintenance requests promptly, smoothly, and professionally. The units themselves are certainly essentials only with no frills, and have...let’s call it character. They’re definitely adequate, but if you value pristine living conditions that don’t feel a little lived in when you move in, that’s not exactly this complex’s strong suit. Parking is a bit of a nightmare (In an apartment complex?? What a surprise!), but it’s a good location (right off the 118) with a lot of grocery stores, restaurants, and hiking within just a few minutes. Plus, all recurring payments to the complex can be put on autopay through their app, which is a huge stress reliever for someone (read: me) who has a very selective (read: terrible) memory. TL;DR — move here for the staff and location, not the units.

Couldn't be more excited about moving into this place. Was welcomed by Christina and Rachel, and let me tell you how smooth they made this process. They answered all my questions and addressed any concerns. These wonderful ladies really went above and beyond to get me the best deal possible, and to make sure I was happy. Highly recommend!!!!
The ENTIRE staff at Meadowood is the absolute best! BUT I have to give a special shout to the maintenance guys, especially Vladimir and MARCO. I had a maintenance emergency and they came to the rescue! Within minutes Vladimir and Marco came to check out the problem and the job was done same day and I could not be any more appreciative. Thank you to team Meadowood!
We moved to this community exactly two months ago and every aspect of our experience has been pleasant and friendly. The staff at the leasing office is welcoming and understanding, even when I had to bring up an uncomfortable issue during the leasing process that ended up being just a small misunderstanding. Neither the office manager nor the office staff lost their professionalism and were able to explain the situation to us in a friendly way. Rachel helped us with our lease, paperwork, and all aspects of our moving experience. She demonstrated professionalism at its best, all the time. Rachel is a valuable asset for Essex and she is key to many of our excellent reviews! Rachel is very kind, understanding, and knowledgeable in her field. After living here for two months I can say it's a very quiet place, well taken care of, and they have an amazing custodial staff that takes almost no time in fixing anything that may be needed. Honestly, we have not found anything wrong with living here. Some of the inconveniences that the parking has, as mentioned by some of the reviews, is nothing compared with the quality of service and living in a nice and clean community. Although parking has never been an issue for us because we always find parking, we are so grateful we don't have to park outside a very busy street or unsafe neighborhood like the one where we moved from. Compared to the other side of the mountain, parking at Meadowood Apartments is heavenly! :) To put the icing on the cake, just this afternoon, I received a call from Christina asking how my husband and I were doing during these troubling times. I was surprised and grateful at the same time. No one, in any of the places I have lived before, had ever taken the time to call us and check in on us. Not even when we faced earthquakes! Thank you Meadowood Apartments, we are very happy tenants and we are grateful for the opportunity to live here.
I'm so overjoyed to be able to call this apartment complex my home. Rachel in the office is amazing, she listens, helps anyway she can ,responded to me super fast and absolutely made me feel like she truly cares about me and my family. Cant wait to be here for years to come . I highly recommend contacting the office for any questions or concerns they are all absolutely wonderful and very helpful
