My family has used this funeral home for generations. The people are friendly, compassionate and professional. All of their funeral homes are beautiful. They are also great at keeping the funeral professionals together and that is important to me. My mom gives the ladies restroom in Shillington a 5 Star rating ! It's a must see !!

I would like to thank everyone at Bean Funeral Home and Crematorium in Sinking Spring for their compassion and the attention to detail they extended to our family following the sudden passing of our brother. David Burawski was kind and thoughtful with the recommendations he made, so decisions were made with ease. Amy Landis, the Celebrant took time to learn about Drew from friends and family, so his tribute was touching and memorable. The ability to have a live feed of the service was not only wonderful during the pandemic, but also for family members from Canada who would not have been able to attend under normal circumstances. The facilities were beautiful, a bed was available for viewing the deceased before cremation and even when they arrived at the house to get my brother he was covered with a quilt. Such a beautiful touch. But the personal touches did not stop there, we were surprised with a personalized registry just for my brother, a poster montage of the picture video along with a CD, even an engraved wooden urn for his remains. I would highly recommend Bean Funeral Homes and again I thank you for all you did for our family.
The facilities are amazing and the staff is extraordinary, very knowledgeable and compassionate. I very highly recommend Bean Funeral homes to anyone is their time of need.
We used Bean for my mother's funeral this summer and we were extremely impressed with the compassion and professionalism showed to us by Joseph McCullough. Through this emotional experience, he listened to our tearful and humorous memories of our Mom, prepared us for what would happen, answered our many questions, advised when we asked for his professional opinion, and we felt that we were in tender and competent hands through this difficult situation. Unfortunately, he was not able to attend the actual funeral due to previous commitments but he had already prepared us for that emotional day. Thanks, Joe!
My mother recently passed away. She had Bean as her funeral home. When I contacted them about her passing I asked what Balance was outstanding on her account, I was told they didn’t have that information but would let me know. Never heard back. They called the day before we were to come to reschedule everything due to double booking, I again asked about my mother’s balance, again I was told they didn’t have that information. I arrive at the funeral home at the scheduled time. They go through all the details, still avoiding the balance. He finally tells me she only made three payments so of course your contracted price is voided. He then pressures us into how we plan to pay. I didn’t have the funds and would have needed time to raise them. The director’s response was you have family coming get them to pay. I find it deplorable at a time of grieving to pressure people who are sort of stuck. I had asked about the finances in case I needed to get the money together. Thankfully a relative was able to assist but I feel sorry for anyone who doesn’t have someone who can assist. Thankfully my mother had a life insurance policy so I can pay this relative back.
