I have been donating plasma for several months with Biolife and had always had an incredible experience, until I started going to the Sioux City location. The last time I donated I brought in a coupon and was promised a certain amount of pay. I was shorted by 70 for my donation and after calling the store every day for almost a week to talk to a manager I am still missing money that I was promised. This has made me apprehensive to return. I love being a life saver, but cant support a business that does not stay true to their word or do anything to even try to fix it.

I've been donating plasma since 2012. Probably around 460 times. The frontline people working there have always been and continue to be great people. Unfortunately the experience of donating plasma has gone downhill the last couple of years to the point I am not sure I will continue. I always appreciated having the extra money, even if I don't need it. BioLifes's policies have become less donor friendly. They treat you like they are doing you a favor by letting you give your plasma. Everyone knows they are making a fortune off it while paying you 70 a week. Just because you pay us a little doesn't make us your employees. They need donors to stay in business, but don't treat you that way.

I've been giving for over a year and have enjoyed the experience. I love the idea of givng back. The only thing that's been less than favorable the last few months is the bottleneck in the process. I'm not sure if it's lack of staff, but when I wait in one spot for 25 minutes in line something's wrong. Overall, I waited for an hour and 10 minutes after doing the check in process of getting weight, bp etc.

Worst plasma centre in Sioux City. Since I was 9 minutes past my appointment they denied me to help out giving plasma but the lady behind me was 5 minutes past her appointment but they allowed her to go. Horrible lines, you wait 2 to 3 hours just for a couple bucks. Always backed up. Octofarma plasma you'll be able to still donate and save life's.
