I enjoy Cody's food with regularity. I enjoy their daily lunch specials like chicken fried steak and smoked meatloaf. Their bar-b- is delicious...especially the ribs and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Big portions so come hungry!
I came here with my infant daughter as soon as we got off the interstate from an hour and a half away. We were staying at a hotel in the same area for my daughters early morning surgery. We were not greeted or anything, the place had 2 tables in the entire place. A waiter named Cameron walks by our table and said “Get her off that table” and kept walking.. and I turned around and said maybe a high chair would help? He says nothing and kept walking. As soon as her coat came off.. I put it right back on and we left. It was the rudest I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. I came to my car in tears already worried about my daughters surgery and I just wanted to feed her. Absolutely awful service.
This place had a nice atmosphere. The food was good but they were out of ribs by 6:30 pm which seemed strange for a barbeque place. I'd probably try it again and try the ribs next time.
I enjoyed my entrees from two separate visits. On my last visit I ordered the smoked Asian wings, which were very good and the tasty baked beans. On my visit prior to that, I had the pulled barbeque chicken sandwich. The macaroni tasted generic, so I won't order that anymore. I normally mix Velveeta cheese and carnation milk together to make my cheese sauce and it's good! Check out the restaurant for yourself and see what you think.
