My friends and I stopped by this seldom talked about South Boston bar on a Friday night. From start to finish the experience was terrific. The husband and wife ownership team was extremely friendly and you can tell how much time they put into their thoughtful and comfortable decor. The menu was full and creative, the food delicious, and the drinks even more so. A far cry from the usual in this neighborhood. I hope that people can move on from romanticizing the same three local bars that offer little besides loud music and long lines, and instead consider stopping into one of my new favorite places in town.
