Outstanding school. I have trained here for 4 months and would recommend it to anyone interested in BJJ, self defense or looking for martial arts training in general. Fantastic programs for kids and adults. After training with them for a month I enrolled my daughter who also loves the training. The instruction is top notch, professional and focused. I have been involved with martial arts for over thirty years and have trained throughout the U.S. I know a great school when I see one and this is it.

This school is fantastic. Our son was experiencing some bullying at his school that was really getting him down. It was becoming a daily occurrence. As parents we were not properly equipped to know how to help our son. The training that he is receiving at SK Martial Arts helped him almost immediately. The biggest thing he learned was how to stand up for himself through his use of language. He learned how to make and maintain eye contact with his attacker and, if necessary, how to handle the situation by using jiu jitsu techniques. He learned that most bullies back down if confronted, and if they did not back down how to handle the situation by use of basic but effective take down techniques. We see a difference in our sons confidence and the way he carries himself. Thanks coach Shane and the rest of the instructor team, you’ve made a noticeable difference in our child’s life AND he loves coming to class.

Excellent instruction for kids and adults of all skill levels. Kids learn verbal deterrence, effective self-defense, as well as what to do before and after a fight, and they catch on fast! The atmosphere is welcoming and every class is fun (adult classes, too.) Beginning students will receive plenty of encouragement, and experienced students will find sufficient challenge to continue their growth. Don't miss out on the women's self-defense class, either: it's easily the most fun we have all week and covers everything from situational awareness to the worst-case scenario, choking, hair-grabbing, and weapons included.

My son's been more confident, and has been doing better in school since he started the bullyproof kid's class. I attribute these changes primarily to the amazing instructors, the kindness fostered among the students, the practical lessons taught, and the open and welcoming atmosphere. It is a fantastic place where you'll feel welcomed the second you walk in the door.
