I love Skagway. Fin placed, Luis to see and do. To the center of town from the terminal is a 10 minutes walk... All flat and easy.

Close to the town and the railway. It doesn't get any better than that
Don't be afraid to just get off the ship and find local deals on shore excursions. They are usually a lot cheaper than getting them on the Ship and there the same thing. Don't worry, they never fill up. Also have great shops for T-shirts and other stuff.
Wonderful place, very efficient. Beautiful skyline of Vancouver. Never saw a floating had station before either. Multiple ships and cruise line dock here. There is a ferry that docks nearby as well as helicopters taking off and landing. Trains also go By frequently. All in all a great place to start and/or end a cruise. If you have time hop on hop off is a good way to spend the day before heading home.
Beautiful terminal. Woke up to find that we were docked here. There are lots of graffiti in the mountain across, an eyesore to me, but art to my dear wife. A very short and scenic (to me) walk to the city from the terminal. You just cross the rail tracks and you are in the city, which is very small...you can walk the whole length in less than an hour.
Great place to visit on the cruise neat old fashioned township and surrounded by forests.
Very nice terminal! Nice little park near the terminal as well! Only problem was the walk to town was a little far!
Its a cruise terminal...Skagway was amazing. Great little town
