They have an antiquated and ignorant pet policy: Pets must be leashed, vaccination records required. The following breeds are not allowed: pit-bull, mastiff, rottweiler, doberman, wolf/coyote hybrid. Will not be booking there with my sweet mixed pit bull pup!

Currently closed (3/14/21). But the lookout down the road provided great views.

It’s a beautiful spot, we had so much fun and hope to return every year with the other three families with which we camp. Our reservations have been cancelled twice without us being notified (Covid and another closure) and I was super frustrated about not receiving word and just finding out our money was refunded. But I posted that experience here and the park almost immediately responded asking for details. After researching the issue, we determined it was an error with their software not sending automated notices. They have been super helpful and responsive and I’m so glad they reached out. Customer service goes a long way to retaining loyal visitors! So happy!

Beautiful campground, friendly staff and campers. Alot of trails and paths, vending machines, a theater area for night time movies on wknds, stayed in south campground and walked the trails over to the north side. Very peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend

Beautiful campground & beautiful lake. We stayed in North Camp 59. Great spot close to the bathroom. Short walk to the lake. Gorgeous views! This was our first time here but we will be back.

Be aware the this is no longer a state park, despite being labeled as such on Google and Bing. It is a county park now.

Very well kept camp ground. It is secure so I feel safe letting my 8,10, and 12 year old kids ride bikes around. The beach is great and the lake is beautiful. Dog friendly.

Beautiful place to camp! I was as site 55. Like that they give you two free parking passes per site. I would definitely go back! The bathrooms weren't very clean, and if you paid for the hot shower it was spotty with the heat at best. But, hey, we're camping!
