One of the best borscht in Brighton (this is very controversial based on who you ask). As a local I usually disregard Skovorodka because of the garish groups of folks who like to frequent the place so it’s usually takeout for me but took a chance and was pleasantly surprised one Saturday night. Service was so nice and attentive, food was fresh fresh fresh and perfect for a cold winter dinner. With ending of indoor dinner, def visit for their takeout their kitchen will produce same quality foods! Their kompot is on point! Fresh bread with sour cream and a heavy hearty savory borscht what more can you ask for?

Delicious, Authentic and convenient to the subway!!! The owner is honest and the service was excellent. I was thinking of ordering more but he recommended that I had enough and didn’t try to up-sell. I will definitely go back!!!

Food was super. I Had shrimps in white sauce with vegetables and it was delicious. Friend had fish and also was very good. Stuff little slow. . . But because of delicious food worth it to go there.

If going on the weekend, make a reservation!!! Can't go wrong with zharkoye and an apple strudel. No draft beer, but Baltika will do. Fair prices for what it is, live music, avoid table in the hallway. Cesar salad is nothing special. Descent service. Escargot is fun, but pretty oily.
