I got my first motorcycle this year, a 1981 Honda CM 400. Having my first motorcycle was a dream come true, but as you can imagine with a 40 year old bike, even though it was in great condition for the age, it still needed some work. New tires, new drive chain, headlight wasn't working, and I am a shorter woman so it needed to be dropped to a height I could get my feet to the ground comfortably. And I know NOTHING about motorcycles. Needless to say, I was very nervous about taking it to a mechanic and being judged or taken advantage of. Cycle Gear referred Santos and I am so glad they did! He did a great job communicating with me about what all it would need, his prices were absolutely reasonable and affordable, and they not only did what I needed but tightened a few things on the bike and did a couple tiny little fixes that needed to be done but I hadn't really thought to ask for. He had it running in no time and because it was at the end of the day even gave me a quick parking lot lesson on the basics of riding. I could not have asked for a better experience when it comes to finding someone to take care of my very first baby. Santos is honest and a great mechanic and clearly passionate about what he does. I never felt judged for being new to the motorcycle scene - I felt welcomed with open arms. His enthusiasm was contagious and I will be taking my bike to him as long as I live within the Houston area. I would recommend this shop to anyone who rides.
