Took my boys here (11,6,4). They enjoyed boom town. Tinker area was closed due to COVID, but we still enjoyed our experience.

Great museum park! The displays are well thought out and great information about the local oil boom back in the \day\. You can spend several hours here.

I know people who work in the oil industry including my late husband. I loved learning how the local people and communities flourished with the discovery of oil. I love looking back in time than compare how we do things today.

What an exciting place to visit. The place is free with numerous exhibits both inside and outside. I never knew that for 5 months the town of smackover was the largest producing oil field in the world. Population of the area went from 100 to 25000 in moments after oil was discovered. You need to visit this great facility.
