To the owners: the employees here are VERY aware of what time you close.... When I walked in, they were so kind enough to tell me “11 minutes!” Instead of, “welcome!!” I remember when I had to stay two hours past closing time... I had to keep a smile on.

Do you even know what the probability of two shoppers' carts being filled with the exact same items is? Neither do I, but I do know that last night, when nothing seemed more consolative than a bowl of ice cream, Smith's of South Jordan was there for me! Not only was chocolate chip Tillamook found in my basket, but Josephina restaurant-style tortilla chips and a couple of other impulse buys as well. Was I satisfied? Absolutely. Would I return for more? Certainly. Do I wish everything in the store was free? Yes. Merci Smith's for being there for me last night. I would say that I owe you one, but I paid for what I took, and it was worth every penny.
There was a US Bank which is my reason for going there. Disappointed that Smiths didnt have gallon size spring water. But the store was very clean & the employees were welcoming & friendly.
This Smiths has great customer service, a pharmacy, flowers, deli, sushi and a place to sit down and eat it. They have their Friday/Saturday sales out on display so you can easily find them when you walk in. I highly recommend getting their ap and downloading their free Friday coupons they have about every other week. It's usually a protein bar and that is fun to try. And I've had some really great cashiers. Their restrooms and drinking fountain are right inside and easy to get to. The grocery carts are in an awkward place compared to other smith's and the carts with car seat straps are usually blocked by normal carts but overall a good Smith's to go for a grocery run.
I'm confined to a wheelchair, so I have someone who picks up my orders for me. During the Covid-19 situation, it has been great to place my order online and be able to choose for myself. So far it's been great.
FINALLY HAD SELF-CHECKOUTS! it's the only complaint I've ever had shopping here the past few years was the rediculous lines that were there 95% of the time. it's gotten better since the new self-checkouts were put in!

After spending an hour shopping online for a curbside pickup, I was informed later today by email that my order had been cancelled. When I called the number provided, the guy pulling the orders told me that he was really behind and they were short staffed, and he didn't have time to contact me, so he cancelled the order. WHAT??!! How is that even an option for him to do? I didn't even need the groceries right away and could have waited even a couple days before pickup, but that option wasn't even offered, the order was just cancelled before I was even contacted. This wasn't a small order, I typically place an order every week for our groceries and have been doing this for a couple years. There are plenty of other stores that offer online shopping and curbside pickup and I can easily switch to one of them if it means that I won't be wasting my time when placing an order. I've done it before when service was disappointing at another place. I guess they are too busy for my business.
