Avian Glen is a smaller winery than another nearby option, but did not disappoint! They offer a very generous free tasting of ALL of their wines, and the staff is very knowledgeable about the wines and the estate! My favorite wine was the blackberry, but watch out, it will sneak up on you at 13% Abv!

Stopped by yesterday, followed the directions on the sign, called Amelia and she was there with a big smile ready to welcome us within 5 minutes. The wines were a little sweeter then my liking as I am a big dry fan but my husband who has a more diverse palate was impressed. We brought home a bottle of the pinot griego and ruby red. The labels with the humming birds are so great. Tasting was fun, and free which I thought was super generous. They also sell the cutest and funniest wine glasses that are made by someone else who is local. Great prices and love supporting a locally owned and operated business.

Fantastic winery. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves wine, winery's, or wine tastings. Each has a unique taste that lives up to its name. You can try each wine and then buy your favorite! The patio is cozy and has a great view of the vineyard. Will definitely be back again and again!

2 stars for the wine, 3 stars for the atmosphere. Not for the most refined palate. Great for families.

This is said to be a Black Owned Winery, which i was excited to come support! Unfortunately, I’ve visited twice and both times it was an all white staff (and musicians), so i asked to confirm who/where the owner was. Apparently he’s not around much, or involved in the daily operations. Disappointing. I’ve tried the patty peach and the honey wine. Both taste good but both seemed to have a lower than average alcohol concentration? I’m hopeful with time this little winery can diversify and improve :)
