Let me start by saying, “The staff, environment, and food was amazing”! Upon walking in, we were greeted and the waitress assisted us with our to go order at the moment. After waiting 5 mins or so (we were taking photos), we decided to have a drink at the bar. Perfectly made and the bartenders were so awesome! They even engaged in casual conversation that then led us to wanting to sit in and have our food. To say the food was delicious is definitely a understatement. It exceeded our expectations and taste buds. All in all, when I come back to the Atlanta area I will definitely be making a trip to the restaurant again. -Shawn!

We would have give no stars had that been an option . Ordered take out at 9 pm. We requested the curry conch and oxtails with brown gravy. The original wait was 45 min . Arrived at 9:50 and was told the food was not ready . Finally at 10:20 the food was ready. Drove all the way back home just to find out we were given stew chicken. We called the restaurant which was now closed to let them know the order was wrong . The lady on the other end asked us to send a picture showing that it was not oxtails in which we did. We offered to bring the food back in exchange for what we paid for but instead she offered to compensate us by having us come back another day to get the correct order . We called on the day that we agreed and was told that the offer was not valid and instead he would give us the difference of the two orders. The fact that we were made to pay for something we didn’t want and even offered to bring back is completely unfair. For it to go even further that we were promised a resolution and then that was also being taken away has proven too much for us for us to order from Rodneys again.

The service was AMAZING. My waitress was polite and very engaging which was very nice. The food presentation was immaculate. I had the brown stew chicken and I only wish the stew itself was more flavorful...I found my self putting more salt, pepper and hot sauce to the stew and I'm not even a fan of hot sauce. The rice and the plantains were perfect. The ambiance was very impressive and I can tell on the weekends it's a pretty DOPE vibe as the decor and music is . I definitely plan on coming back and this time I plan on trying the curry chicken. 4 out of 5 stars.

Maybe i came on a bad day but they need to work on their efficiency. Food wasn't necessarily bad but given the prices the service could have been better. Took about an hour (almost hour and a half to get my food) by the time it got their I didn't care about eating it. It didn't make sense for it to take as long considering 4 other people ordered at the same time as me (and of 2 of my wife's sides came out Luke warm/almost cold). It wasn't even packed either. They said they were training a new cook but that's still no excuse on a weekend (you should have your veteran cooks on the busy days). I just don't think my time and money was worth it or we'll spent here. I cook for a living and try to give a little leniency when things like this happen but i can't do it this time .

Father Son business lunch - perfect place! Great service and the chef knew how to do that 'jerk filet mignon' just right!
