Robert and Cody are amazing with their K-9 training service. I highly recommend them. Our dog has seen significant improvement and just as importantly, we have learned additional supportive techniques to maintain long term results. Have worked with other trainers in the past and these guys are far and above the best!

We found our forever kitty today, or should I say she found us. The staff was super friendly and we couldn't be more excited to have her be a part of our family. My daughter is over the moon happy. Thank you.

I am a house call dog groomer who recently just moved to the area. I stopped in today to meet the staff and volunteers and was extremely pleased with their friendliness and the cleanliness of the facility. I am excited to become a volunteer and be a part of a great team helping dogs get much-needed love and attention and find the right home for them. Thank you so much Snake River Animal Shelter for being so welcoming!

I can 100% say, that this is a great place to get an animal. Definitely choose this place, or another shelter for animals, over social media or street side pet "markets" -(for lack of a better term). I've visited this place multiple times to see the animals, volunteer, and adopt a furry friend of my own. Everytime I go I am always treated kindly, AND with respect. I can say the same goes with how they treat their animals. I've never seen a dog, or cat, that look ready to be adopted, but yet wouldnt mind staying in the arms of snake river animal shelter. Love this place.

Such a nice staff! Our terrier was only 6 months when we got him and he had all his shots done, neutered and chipped for only 175! Highly recommend if you're looking for a pet! Adopt animals always!

Really disappointing and frustrating experience. My wife and I went in not too long ago. Wanting to get a dog, we first asked if we could see the dogs but instead a young man just took us to a chart of pictures of the dogs. May I point out that pictures do not do us justice for adopting. We asked if we could see them in person and he said that the pictures would do justice. We then said again said So we cant see them? He said, well if you pick one of the these dogs then he will bring it out for us to see. So we decited that we wanted to visit with 3 and he insisted only one. The one dog that we picked he said was available to visit with . We then were told to wait in the cat room and he would go get the the dog. We were there for a total of at least 20 min waiting without any update. We went to the front, sat down thinking they would say something.they compleley ignored us, we sat in front for maybe another 10 min until we said something to the young man. Who was doing absolutely nothing. We asked if there was any update on the dog, he then said oh let me go check acting like he didnt even know what was happening. He was gone for 5 min so we left. The system was very unorganized and needs to be better. If your shelter wants people to ADOPT LET US SEE THEM. Otherwise your job is useless. We love the shelter. We just wish you were more considerate and had a better system. The point of a shelter is so they can be adopted. This system makes it impossible if you really care about the animals
