The staff is so rude & when I tried to make a complaint about one of the staff members here the supervisor did not care and brushed me off. She did not even apologize for how her employee treated me & acted like she was giving me money out of her pocket. they seem to forget that this is their job and if it wasn’t for people on ssi they would not even have a job.
I’ve been trying to get an emergency appointment for over a month. They have been redirecting me to another number asking to leave a voicemail so that they can give me an appointment, but no one ever calls me back. Because of this, I have been out of work and without health insurance for more than a month. Please let me know what I have to do to get an appointment.
Very quick didn't wait long for a response
The wait can be somewhat mitigated by showing up early, having an appointment, and / or arriving right when they open. The staff I interacted with did a good job being friendly and helpful. I was impressed with the amount of staff who spoke Spanish. When you walk in, there are two machines you use to sign in. While there was a sign saying this, it wasn’t too noticeable. Several people missed it and stood around confused. Staff were too busy working to notice or correct their error. The people who were waiting normally did, so kudos to them. Better signage for the sign-in stations would be good, though. Over all, it’s a government office — it’s only going to be so good — but I had an easy time and appreciate everyone’s willingness to help one another.
