We never had much of a problem with Dr. Kaukab herself. The problem with this office is the nurses and wait time. We waited AT LEAST two hours for every appointment, checkups or for sick child. The nurses are incredibly rude and pushy. My daughter (5 years old) was getting caught up on vaccines at her last appointment and I told them we wanted to do two at a time, which I was told before we started going here that it wouldn’t be an issue. The nurse INSISTED we do 5 shots in one appointment, then proceeded to scare my child by telling her “you’re going to need your stuffed unicorn because you’re getting a ton of shots today” when my daughter showed her the stuffed unicorn she got for her birthday. During the same appointment, my son got vaccines. Since it was already closing time, they gave both kids shots at the same time. I could only comfort one while the other was screaming while getting his shots, which is a horrible feeling for a mother. We will not be back for either of our kids because of this.

I hate to leave an ugly review but every appointment my son had we got there on time or earlier and always waited at LEAST an hour, last time we went his appointment was at 9:15 and I didn’t leave until AFTER 12!! waited that long and she came in for maybe 5 minutes.. he had an ear infection and got prescribed to something he was allergic to, so we had to wait at Walgreens for them to call her and get something else then after the medication was over it didn’t help so we took him back and she said “this medication doesn’t always work for an ear infection” so what was the point in giving it to him? Then the new medicine made him so sick, we called them and they never returned our call that day so we ended up taking him to the ER. The ladies theirselves are fine but it’s just not practical for the care of my son.

I made the mistake of bringing both my children here without checking the doctor's credentials! Do not make this mistake! Both of my children were misdiagnosed. I will not go into the details of the reasons for their visit as I feel that violates their privacy however I will say it was a Well Visit. Prior to moving Both of my children have been checked on a regular basis by a board-certified pediatrician that went to the University of Florida. This Dr made it seem as if my children had never been seen or treated by a doctor. Neither of my children have had any sort of health issues prior to this appointment but left however with a list of medications that I was to pick up at the pharmacy. She actually told my children (age 2, 7 months at the time) that they could not cry and seemed to become irritated when they did so. If you are looking for a pediatrician's office that is warm and welcoming this is not it. The waiting room has nothing to entertain children. Neither does the rooms but instead are plastered with demanding signs stating that you, the parent or the child is not to be on any Electronics or the doctor will leave the room upon entrance. And signs that stated they are not allowed to have any food or drink. I found this to be an incredibly odd atmosphere considering they are a pediatrician's office. I have been debating for months whether or not to post this review however after multiple visits at another pediatrician's office in Chattanooga where my children have been checked by board-certified pediatricians and have been deemed in good health and seeing other people's post about how their children were misdiagnosed at this location, I felt it was time.

Dr. Kaukab is always very respectful, knowledgeable, and thorough in her explanations. If ever I have a question regarding a diagnosis she is happy to oblige. She is personable and professional.

I went here as a minor and I always had to wait 30 minutes or more to go back to a room, even when there was no one else there. I injured my ankle and went to her and was wrongfully diagnosed with a sprain. I went for a second opinion somewhere else and I had a torn ligament for months. That is not the only time this has happened to me and family friends. Highly do not recommend trusting this facility to take care of yourself or loved ones.

Excellent pediatric health care. I would recommend Dr. Kakaub to any parent. She is very thorough with her examination and very attentive to parents concerns and observations. She often deviates from typical medical care but explains all treatments in detail and expresses herself in a way that parents understand the logic of the treatment.
