Amy and Bill have a beautiful, welcoming farm with a growing array of farm animals, including goats, horses, chickens, dogs and cats, and now 2 baby emus! Since we live in the area, we have never overnighted, but Amy was super accommodating in arranging horseback lessons for my husband and I last fall/winter, which we will continue with this summer. Their large horse arena is comfortable for horseback riding lessons year long. Amy is also a gifted painter, and offers a nice assortment of scented soaps, which she makes using the milk from her own goats, and which make for great gifts. I highly recommend staying at the Woofs and Hoofs Ranch to get away from the stress of city life.

This was the ultimate farm experience. I tried it all! My day started with feeding the animals (goats, horses, rabbits, chickens, and dogs) and then I was served a farm fresh breakfast of eggs and toast with local jam and fresh Michigan fruit....delicious! After breakfast I was lucky to milk a goat that happened to be “with milk” during my stay. Later we saddled up the horses and went on a trail ride around the property. It was hot, but it was great to be back in the saddle. We gave the horses a bath after our ride. Relaxing by the pool after a long hot afternoon was the perfect cool down. “Goat happy hour” was around 4pm which is when the goats roam free around the property. It was fun to “herd” them with squirt guns. The accommodations are above the barn overlooking the arena. The rooms are so quaint and perfectly decorated. I have stayed twice and hope to go back again soon. Woofs and Hoofs ranch is like no other.

I love going to Woofs and Hoofs for day trips. Horses to nuzzle, dogs and cats to pet, goats to talk to. Then there is their big, cozy barn. The stables and arena are fun to explore, but the highlight is the finished living area that includes a huge studio full of Amy's Art. I'm an artist who loves animals, why wouldn't I love Woofs and Hoofs, where I can be artistically inspired while cuddling a cat or dog or rabbit or horse?

We visited for the day to meet the horses, goats and dogs and hang out at the farm. My kids got to take the goats on a walk, ride horses, and just chill in a relaxed, friendly environment. Amy and Bill are terrific hosts and we all felt immediately welcomed and at home. We can't wait to go back!

This is our Happy place! We love it so much over there! Amy and Bill are the BEST hosts! We arrived as guests and left as friends! The place is terrific! Beautifully decorated, I love the rooms overviewing the riding arena! Our kids got to take care of all the animals and are proud to now know them all by name! Amy is the kindest! From horse back riding to lounging by the pool, there’s plenty to do! We love the homemade breakfast with fresh eggs!!! But the Goat happy hour is so much fun too! Amy’s art studio is beautiful and the perfect place for yoga or meditation.... the place is quiet, refreshing, inspiring, peaceful and so clean... again the perfect ‘Happy Place’. An experience any family will truly enjoy! We just can’t wait to be back! Émilie Christophe Otello and Elena
