This place is beautiful if you're looking for scenic. And I understand the comments about the man at the bait shop...however I have known this family since I myself was a child, and my father went here as a child. It's family owned & operated and business has slowed since their father's passing. He is \creepy\ but he is nothing to be worried about, just a little slow. We only caught 2 fish here at all in 2012, probably went to the lake about 20 times...disappointed. But like I said, it's scenic, private, you won't have to worry about being bothered by others, you can basically make a section of any lake your home for however long you choose to stay. Also, their bait shop prices are not terrible, especially considering how far you would have to drive to get a to a gas station or convenience store (whose prices would be as high if not higher.) PS - don't judge the owner just because he seems odd. He probably has more in common with a young child than an adult. I have a little girl and he didn't act weird around her. He talked to us when we were there about the Reds for about 45 mins...I think it's just because they're lonely.
