Somewhere in Time Sports Collectibles Is a Scam

This place is in the worst condition possible. So many cards are just laying around in piles and are severly damaged due to this. Whoever owns this store does not care about the product he sells. He says that the cards in the pile are 5 cents, UNLESS YOU FIND A GOOD ONE. Obviously I'm looking for good cards. He told me if I found a good one he would give me a good, under book value price. Yeah, not true. He marks half the cards I found up like crazy and tries to price gouge me. The prices he was offering were almost double book value and he did not want to sell them. I spent almost 4 hours there sifting through his giant piles of cards just for him to tell me he didn't want to sell them. So he took the cards that he wanted back and marked them up and put them for sale. I went through his cards for nothing and he didn't pay me for doing his job. Beware, he takes advantage of his customers, especially if they are young and look like innocent kids.

I first went here about 25 yrs ago for myself. Now I take my son here . Each time we go the nice gentleman gives my son some freebie cards and gives us a great deal. Tons of cards new and used,memorabilia, and other collectibles available. It's all about seeing my son smile each time we leave no matter how much I spend !

I wish I could give a zero star review. This guy is a comete scam artist. I'm a young High school kid who has been collecting my whole life. His store is an absolute disaster and I was told that cards were 5-10 cents and when I went to check out he went through each card and tried to charge 4-5 dollars a card. He is the scum of the earth and is ruining the hobby for people that actually enjoy it. He doesn't want to sell his cards. That's why he tells you one price until you get to the counter. I will never go here again.

We are from Maryland and went into this store today. They had a lot of new and older sports memorabilia and novelty items. There isn't much to the mall itself but the people in this store were very friendly and that alone just made me want to purchase something from them. I appreciate sports memorabilia and novelty items but what I appreciate more than that is great customer service and a person with a great personality and I found both there. Check them out you may be surprised and even find an older item that you've been looking for. Thanks for the GREAT SERVICE and good luck with the business.
