I purchased my stereo system approximately a year and a half to two years ago. I started to have problems with the system where it was constantly dropping off. I contacted Sound Advice and the girl that I spoke to said she would have the technician give me a call back. I did not receive a return call. I waited approximately 4-5 days and called back and spoke to a gentlemen who was looking for my previous message and could not find it. I proceeded to tell him the problem and he said he would try and get the tech out to my house. This would be on a Saturday and I said great. He then asked me if I lived in Avalon and I told him no, he then said. ‘Oh, he can’t get there then.’ He then proceeded to tell me he will have the tech call me back within the hour. A couple of hours go by and I call back to see if the tech received my message and the girl who answered the phone,which might I say was very unprofessional and a little rude, tells me that the tech is very busy right now getting people’s systems up and running and he will be in the office only one day and will return calls then. I then proceeded to tell her that I have left 2 previous messages and that I too am a previous customer, who spent a lot of money to have this system installed, and I am still waiting for a return phone call. I then said maybe I should contact Sonos directly and she said very sarcastically, well go ahead. Needless to say I did contact Sonos directly and they were very helpful. I worked it out and we came to a resolution of my problem. I just feel that you spend a lot of money on a sound system and then you don’t get the common courtesy of a return phone call is very, very unprofessional. It’s like they just take your money, do the job and that’s it. Their customer service is very unprofessional and lacking big time and I will reach out to other dealers when I want to add on to my system.
