We believe that Utah will meaningfully benefit from the increase of influence of strong and passionate women leading companies. We believe business and entrepreneurism are important tools for influencing and tackling big issues that directly affect women such as addressing continued wage gap concerns, increasing the overall number of women within business and technical fields, and identifying creative and flexible solutions for working women. We believe that by enabling women to be successful entrepreneurs, they will bring increased innovation and creativity to drive greater financial outcomes and meaningful social impact. We believe that as women embrace their strengths they will inspire and motivate younger generations that are looking for leadership styles that exhibit empathy, vulnerability, humility, inclusiveness, generosity, balance, and patience. We believe that women and men must work together, building on the key strengths of each, to move forward in positively addressing the opportunities and challenges we face. Based on these beliefs, we are in the process of designing a program that will enable a meaningful time and resource investment aimed at taking a woman through the journey of expecting more from and believing in herself, broadening perspective to tap into her innate desire for wanting more for the world, and then learning and implementing the skills to make real change and impact for society. By the end of the program, these women will be launching or having a clear path to launch a start-up, particularly in the social impact space. The program will include follow-up mentoring, networking, financial and other support. This program will be designed for mind setting, paradigm shifting lessons and mentoring with an innovative combination of learning techniques including online, experiential, creativity, play, technical/practical application, and deep personal assessment and growth.
