Best European food in town. We tried an Apfelstrudel, roasted pork shank and the soup of the day. Everything was delicious and reminded us of our times in the Czech Republic. The waiter was very kind and friendly and the location had relaxing, live guitar music.

I adore this spot! They provide awesome food, they have a nice menu, The cook in that restaurant is well trained, I like very much trying all their food. The food is always of high qualtity, the attitude towards the clients is very good too. I often eat in this place and I was never unsatisfied. I recommend this place.

I've had a lot of German food and this was right up there with the best. Delicious and great fuel for all the Tahoe activities :)

The food was great. The service was terrible. The waiter was actively avoiding helping us. I had to literally chase him. On the cold evening, while seating outside due to Covid, we had our gas heater run out of gas, and the waiter made no attempt to roll up another one, that was in the near vicinity. He replied, that he has no gas tank replacement for this one that went out. We had to talk to the people at the neighboring table, who had 2, and were leaving soon, to borrow their heater. He brought out disposable knife/fork sets, unusable with the meat dishes. I had to chase him down again to request normal metal knife/fork sets. We were a large party, and therefore the tip/service charge was mandatory. I would definitely opt for 0 tip, if it weren't mandated by law, and already included in the check.

We had pork shanks (dinner for two) on Saturday. The food was awesome. The soup was very tasty. The pork was tender, the spaetzle was delicious, the sauerkraut and red cabbage were great. We ended the dinner with apple streudel with cinnamon and raisins and vanilla ice cream. It was yummy!. The service was excellent. Jayme was great. The chef came out checking on how we liked the food. It was just excellent overall. If we come back to the area, we will definitely go back to this place.

It’s always nice when you are warmly welcomed once you step into a restaurant. Our server, Lenka, was very attentive and warm and took the time to explain the dishes we were interested. We have never tried Czech cuisine outside Prague. It’s literally the first time ever we tried it in California and so we were surprised and excited to know how the food tasted like. Without hesitation, we will recommend this restaurant when you come to Lake Tahoe. The restaurant is extremely clean. Service is excellent and the food is very tasty, very good Czech flavour. We particularly liked the schnitzel and the garlic bread. Worth a try! We would give the restaurant a 4.5.

There was plently of room and the food options were great. Would highly recommend, but make sure to bring a large appetite as the portion sizes are large.
