I worked here for a short time last year. The owner and barn manager did not inform me the horse Brooke had kicked someone causing serious injury. She ended up kicking me as well and dislocating my hip. I hope they don't use her around children anymore. I personally felt they did not use enough bedding for the horses. Everyday the stalls smelled strongly of ammonia, puddles of urine, and swarms of flies. The horses did not seem well socialized or respectful of people. Very ancy, impatient, on edge, and aggressive toward each other. The owner seemed to have a short temper. The barn manager could be abrasive. I did not leave on good terms. I thought about leaving this review many times and finally decided to out of concern for peoples safety, experience, and the horses well-being.

We have been involved in camps as well as lessons for the last 2 years at great escape and have had a wonderful experience. The facility is well lit and organized, lessons are safe and professional our daughter has learned a lot in a very short period of time. The staff is knowledgeable and great with kids!!
