This company, owned and operated by Petra and Joel is so awesome. I could not be happier with their clear instructions and their teaching techniques. I made more progress in one hour than I’ve made in many hours of lessons with instructors from my home state. Their set up is unique and speeds up the learning process. They are both gifted in keen observation and specific adjustments to help a student progress faster and get positive results. I highly recommend them!!!!

If you are looking for kite boarding lessons on SPI, look no further. Petra and Joel have more than 30 years of combined teaching wind sports, most of it on South Padre. On my first 2 days Petra methodically and patiently led me through all the steps to flying a power kite including set up, shore launch, safety and self rescue. She provided constant and calm instruction through a head set. The 3rd day was a low wind day, so they taught me riding the board with their specially modified boat. On my last full day on the island they graciously took me out for a very late afternoon session after waiting all day for the wind to pick up. With Petra's help I was able to put everything together for a great ride! Now I am hooked. Thank you so much Petra and Joel.

My partner and I just finished taking kiteboard lessons with Petra and Joel, owners of H20 Sports. They are fantastic instructors, very knowledgeable, and super nice. Petra was my instructor. She was methodical, precise, and very smooth in her progression style of teaching method. She is very safety conscious, I fully surrendered and felt confident she was focused on my safety above all else.Their equipment is in tip top shape. Their communication in regards to when and where to meet up for a lesson was exemplary. Their local knowledge of the environment such as predicting wind trends, tides, kite size for the conditions, etc, was exact. I highly recommend H20 Sports if you are taking up Kiteboarding!
