Great little bit of Texas. I got the fried chicken and it was good - very slight sweetness, leg/wing/thigh/breast cooked just right. Moist on the inside, crispy coating. The fries were good too. Excellent portions. Wife got the pulled pork on mac-n-cheese - plenty of meat on lighty cheesy mac. Comfort food to go. Glad they were open and we picked up.

Absolutely amazing food & excellent customer service. You can’t go wrong with a loaded baked potato & bbq! The staff is very friendly and truly care about your experience as a customer. Please please give this place a try! The chili with angus beef on the loaded spud & give the chicken tenders a try - so tender & crispy!
This is a covid 19 takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. The girl that answered the phone sounded like she didn't want to be there and it wasn't much better when I went in to pickup my order. I had the smoked sausage sandwich which I thought was tasty but it was half of a sausage slit and placed on a hamburg bun. The loaded potato with chili was outstanding. The cornbread was moist and flavorful. On a scale of 0-10 I would rate this 7.8.
This was my first visit and I am so excited to try everything on the menu. Their ribs are superb!! I lived in TX for many years and their ribs are just as good as any top BBQ joints in Texas. Just had their BBQ chicken oh boy and let met tell you, it's the BOMB. their Spuds are OK not bad just not loaded properly, tastes good. The sausage dog is so-so, just not it.
Microwave warning! I’m sure it great when they are cooking fresh outside or at an event. However we just did normal dine-in/take-out option and were very disappointed to be served BBQ that appears to have come from a microwave. This is certainly not the best BBQ in CT, you can even find better elsewhere in South Windsor.
I saw that this place had high ratings, but to our standards it was okay. It seems like our order of ribs were over crispy(made me wonder if they were leftover from the day before and just reheated), the brisket was tender and juicy, the macaroni and cheese was decent, kind of looked like Kraft brand, the beans were okay. It's our first and last time there.
Danny makes excellent barbecue. It's not fancy but it is delicious. His baked loaded potatoes are fairly amazing and huge. I am especially fond of his beef brisket. The only thing I think is odd is that they won't give you a glass of water. If you want something to drink you have to buy a soda or bottled water.
Don't bother. Wait until they're at the Big E. Much better. Very disappointed. Potatoes were barely warm and the worker didn't seem like he wanted to be there. I will give them props on the beans. Very good.
