bad experience...…….they could've prevented a major engine issue had they been more proactive. Instead, they diagnosed the problem piecemeal, telling me I needed a new exhaust system. It needed a lot more than that...…….and there were telltale warning signs that the oxygen sensors were giving that would have prevented the major engine problem if the mechanic been more proactive in communicating and diagnosing.
You will not find better deals on Mercury Outboards anywhere in the world. They want you to enjoy your time on the water.
Great place to do do business with, Randy's expertise in parts department to the great customer service advisor Tiora and the technician Andrew who has master knowledge in boat repairs, I would definitly recommend. Not to forget they have great pricing.
The guys over at Southeastern Marine really know how to treat a customer. The service manager \Kevin\ and the mechanic \Rod\ were both extremely professional! I knew exactly what to expect, how much the job would be, and when the job would be done. There were no surprises. I found out about Southeastern Marine through a long time 20 year friend of the family. He also takes his boat there and highly recommends Southeastern Marine. The service manager Kevin takes and returns my calls in a timely manner. Speaks to me with respect and professionalism and bends over backwards to satisfy me as a customer. The mechanic \Rod\ took the time to show me what he repaired on my engine, explained to me how and why he repaired it, and even gave me extremely helpful advice about other things wrong with both my boat and engine. Southeastern marine is the type of place to take your engine to when another mechanic damages it. The guys at Southeastern Marine went above and beyond by replacing damaged parts free of cost that another shop damaged. They were able to take on a job that another shop refused and was not competent of repairing adequately. I highly recommend Southeastern Marine if you want to have the job done right the first time.
