So Cal Telephone has been just fine. I have used it for about 15 years. However, the infrastructure, phone lines, switching, etc., is Frontier's. And in my location that infrastructure is aging and there have been continuing problems with phone service.

Great company. Whenever I've had issues they've been all over it trying to get it fixed ASAP. I would have given them 5 stars but for the fact that there have been more bumps in the road than I would like, but as I said, they do their best to fix it fast. Even going so far as to send out a virtual army of people on short notice to change out equipment and all that. Thanks guys!

Have had radio signal internet for over 1 year , mostly works , but when it doesn’t , you call the customer service ( they are nice , but only can take notes) they say a tech will check into , after a month of on and off problems , (Neighbor has same problem).... and at least 8 calls , asked for manager..... not one call from tech or manager ... kids cant do school work consistently, no streaming media . Very poor communication. ( my response to costumer service response) Yes a technician did reach out ,That was after seven phone calls to customer service one to a manager and two weeks of time and then I finally got contacted by the tech. Of course Technology has hiccups. I understand that. But the only authority the customer service had Was to make a note of it.As stated they were always very nice, but nothing Got done . I suggest To focus on that part of the business, in between customer service reps and the manager that can actually make things happen( information is getting lost) Nobody should have to call eight times to get a return Phone call or some attention, Especially when my son needs computer to do schoolwork from stay at home order.

This company has really bad customer service and the connections with the phones are bad and the phones sometimes go out. All they do is want to argue with the customer not very helpful. The line is very fuzzy not clear.

Updated Review... It has been several months now and my internet is still not working correctly. I had given Southern California Telephone Company a 1 star review because at the beginning there seamed to be no help or results. Since then Suzette and Carlo have been working diligently to try and fix the issues. I am still unhappy that after several months my internet is still not working. This has affected my child's participation in school and my ability to work remotely during the Covid-19 pandemic. Once this is resolved I will be happy to adjust my review further but at this point I still loose internet on a daily basis and when I do have internet it runs at speeds 70% or more slower than what I have signed up for. I am understanding that I am in a rural area, but my internet worked fine for the first several years without issues then when I asked for a speed increase and signed a new 2 year contract everything stooped working and after several months it is still not fixed. I would like to reiterate again my appreciation to Suzette, Carlo, and the technician that has come to my house several times and there effort to try and fix this problem. I know they are doing there best but that does not resolve the issues I am having that affects me and my family every day. Hopefully this will be fixed soon so I can give Southern California Telephone Company 5 stars again. Thank you SCTC customer service.
