I am a GA resident, have been fishing the coast for years both SC and GA. I go an hour out of my way to get my bait from Southern Drawl. I am in a wheel chair these folks ARE ALWAYS SUPER PROFESSIONAL, always have great quality bait. When no one else has mud minnows or fiddler crabs they have them! Great quality bait and tremendous folks behind the counter.

Great tackle shop and very helpful. The guys were happy to talk about where to go, what to look for and what to use. We took out a boat full of guys and girls and we all got tired of catching fish by the end of the day.

I came here today, august 11th to pick up a rod for me and my son to go fishing with. I really don’t know anything about fishing and could have easily been sold twice as much (if not more) but the gentleman inside was extremely helpful and honest in telling me what I needed, and also what I didn’t need. For example, when I went to get a tackle box he told me I really don’t need one and since I’m just focusing on off the dock fishing with frozen bait it would be unnecessary until I get more into it and start buying lures for other types of fishing. Overall I just really appreciated the time he took and his honesty with me and I will make sure to go back only to this place because of it. I don’t recall his name but I am thankful for his help.

Great selection of artificial lures, rods and reels! I understand covid has hit the supply chain hard this year but Southern Drawl has worked hard to keep the supplies available. I don’t fish bait unless I have chartered customers or family/friends onboard, they have live and frozen shrimp as well as other bait that produces very well. Customer service is always top notch, answering any of my questions or requests. Lastly, their branded hoodies and t-shirts are super comfortable and high quality!
