Southern Iron Works did my iron work 5 years ago when I built my new house. It was an extensive project as I had 10 large custom railings and a massive custom door constructed and installed by them. Within a few months they had to come back take all the iron work down and redo the powder coating because it was flaking off but this time they still used insufficient materials. Since then all of my railings are rusting again and flaking off. I called to have them fix the problem for 2 years and every time the owner would say I'm busy right now but in a few months we will come out and take a look at it. i kept getting put on hold and brushed off. Needless to say no one answers my calls anymore because it was never their plan to come out to begin with. Ironically as sappy as this sounds I would have paid to have it fixed at this point because it's an eyesoar. I wasn't looking for free service even though they sold me a cheaply finished useless product and gave me the run around for years. I think they are bogus and I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.
