We are members of the Cheshire branch. Today was my first time using the Southington facility. It’s very nice and clean, locker rooms are newer looking and clean. I had lost my key tag and the front desk helped out with no problem. Great experience.

We moved in August 2018. We needed a Preschool where my daughter would be challenged. While she was born in early July and old enough to go to Kindergarten she was not emotionally or mature enough to be in Kindergarten. We are great full for the Southington Y to have the Jump Start Program. Any parent who is on the fence about their child and age. We recommend that you check out Jump Start. As a CT certified Teacher I often ask parents while it doesn’t matter in elementary school think down the road to high school. Do you want your 14 year old in a classroom with 16 year olds who are learning how to drive? I wish we had moved a year ago. So my son could have taken advantage of Jump Start. Waiting a year has made all the difference for my children.

Very expensive for what they offer.

I've worked in the Health & Fitness professional for a decade now, and I have to give the Southington branch a very good overall rating. This is much more than a gym- complete with 2 main exercise rooms, LOADS of equipment, they cater to every training style out there. Full size pool, bball court w/ 6 hoop, 2 racquetball courts, game rooms, and a brand new Athlete/Functional training gym to boot. Countless programs for kids of all ages, full staff has always been polite to me, daycare for lil ones. Running such a complete Health & Welness facility in this day and age is no small feat, I give the managers props for that. They also have a huge outdoor camp within a few miles; Camp Sloper (unfortunately costs extra for use though). Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is bc they close way to early on weekends during the summer. 2p.m. is not cool lol.
